To gain insight into the current level of knowledge and understanding, by the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL), of Canada's Medical technology Companies (MEDEC) code of conduct.
About MEDEC
MEDEC companies are committed to providing safe and innovative medical technologies that enhance patient care and advance patient outcomes. The medical technology industry in Canada employs over 35,000 Canadians in close to 1,500 corporate facilities. Because the relationships between MEDEC companies and health care professionals are so important, it is imperative that they are guided by the highest ethical standards and comply with applicable laws. (MEDEC Code of Conduct, 2012).
