Hello:

You are invited to participate in our survey on Columbia basin land management towards 2050. In this survey, approximately 200 regional policy makers, land managers and key stakeholders in the Columbia basin will be asked to answer questions about the region-specific land management options and the quantifiable land cover transitions between now and the year 2050. It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. We aim to publish the result of this project in a peer-reviewed journal, and will distribute the key result to you in a summary report. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions. When answering questions about land use details, you need not consult your data, but use your best recollection or opinion.

Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. If you have any questions, please feel free to click the "Tips" link for clarifications. You can reach us by contacting Mingkai Jiang at [email protected] or Professor Benjamin Felzer at [email protected] for any further questions and comments.

Thank you very much for your time and support. Please start with the survey now by clicking on the Continue button below.
