Are you aware of any programs/efforts being made by the Pahrump community to reduce the dropout rate? (For example: Big brother/Big sister, YMCA, tutoring)
I don't know of any programs/efforts in Pahrump to reduce the dropout rate.
I have heard about one or two programs, but I'm not well informed about them.
I am personally involved in efforts to reduce the dropout rate in Pahrump.

I don't have any children in school, so dropouts don't affect me.
It is the school's responsibility to keep the students in school.
You can still get a good job without a high school diploma.
It is the parent's responsibility to make their children stay in school.
If school was more interesting or had more hands-on activities, the children would want to stay in school.
It is up to the student to make his/her own decision about dropping out of school.
