Hypothesis: The establishment of a new animal display in London Zoo is a conservation strategy to protect endangered species, in the hope that this particular species will reproduce and reverse their fate of becoming extinct.
The Situation: Panda bears had been absent in the United Kingdom between 1994 and 2011, when two giant pandas moved to Edinburgh. However, this is quite far from London, and perhaps London's many residents and visitors would enjoy getting the chance to see such a rare and popular species of animal again. There is a proposal to set up a new panda exhibit at the London zoo with two pandas. This survey evaluates the attitude of London zoo visitors and London residents in general towards this potential new plan.
