Hello:

My name is Stu Greer and I am a Detective Lieutenant with the Morristown Police Department. I am also currently working towards a graduate degree in applied criminology and am trying to learn more about the role of the municipal police Detective in Morris County.

You are invited to participate in our survey about Detectives in small to medium size municipal police agencies. In this survey, approximately 100 Detectives will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about your perceptions of your job. It will take approximately [Approximate Time] minutes to complete the questionnaire.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.
