Recently there a letter was sent to all LCSC students, informing students about the debate on whether or not firearms should be permitted on campus. I have chosen to discuss this topic because it is something everyone would have a personal opinion on. It affects all of the LCSC students. I am conducting this data analysis report to find out how LCSC students really feel about having firearms on campus, if they are for or against it, and if they are for having the firearms on campus, why? Is it to feel safer? Because of being raised with guns in the household? What are the reasons behind their answers as well as their answers they provide? I hypothesize about 65% of LCSC students will be in favor of having firearms on campus due to the fact LCSC students are mostly students that have lived in the area, most of their lives and LCSC is located in an area where those who lived around here have grown up using firearms and find them safe and not as much of a harm as most would who have lived in more city places, only seeing them used for harmful situations.
