I have received several requests from LHP OB members to gather data in order to have our RN's return to LHP. They feel that it is a service issue as the volume increases and the patients are having to wait too long for epidurals and are not getting as much education about them. Our prior standard was that >150 deliveries per month paid for a nurse. Here are the numbers of deliveries: Dec 06 = 144, Jan 07 = 132, Feb 07 = 127, Mar 07 = 159, April 07 = 146, May 07 = 166, as of June 15 = 70.
