Dear Student:

I am a Doctoral student attending Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, and am participating in the Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership Program. As a final part of the program, I am completing my doctoral dissertation on the impact of online delivery systems on student perceptions of achievement in online courses. I am writing to ask if you would take just a few minutes to respond to the survey items below. Your responses will serve as a pilot or "practice" round of distributing the survey. Because you are currently enrolled in an online class your opinion is of great value to my research. Use your past experiences with online courses to answer each question to the best of your ability. Your responses will remain anonymous and secure. No personal information will be shared.

This research study focuses specifically on how the use of Twitter in online courses can impact student perceptions of academic achievement. The study has been reviewed and approved by the SBU Research Review Board. Results will help educators across the country determine how to best meet the needs of online learners.

The survey is divided into three sections and has 25 brief questions. Thank you very much for your time and support. Please start the survey now by clicking on the Continue button below.
