Gary Stevens was born and raised in this Congressional district in a family of five. He attended the local public high school, where his civics class taught him the value of government service. He went to law school and worked as an attorney before entering politics at the state level. After two terms in the State Senate, he is running for the U.S. House of Representatives to represent his beloved district and the constituents he has served for many years. He lives with his wife of 16 years, Anna, and their two children, Joe and Emily, as well as a golden retriever named Max. |
