Disability and Human Rights:
Exploration of the Capabilities Approach in Contemporary Occupational Therapy
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. The purpose of this survey is to examine the relevance of the ten key elements of the Capabilities Approach within the profession of occupational therapy (please see Appendix). The Capabilities Approach is an approach related to human rights which provides a basis for conceptualizing and framing the rights of people with disabilities. We are interested in understanding your views about the relevance of Nussbaum’s central human capabilities to your professional practice. Your answers will be completely anonymous. At the end of the survey there is an option to receive summary results of the survey.
