What is the research study about?
You are invited to take part in this research training study. The study aims to explore the experience of graduates obtaining full-time employment within the first 12 months post graduation and how or if work experience benefits these job seekers. You have been invited to participate because you are a university graduate who has been graduated for long than 12 months.
Who is conducting this research?
A student researcher is conducting this research as part of their assessment task for SRAP3001 (Quantitative Social Research) at UNSW Australia. This will take place under the supervision of the Chief Investigators of SRAP3001.
Inclusion/Exclusion CriteriaThe research study is looking to recruit people who meet the following criteria: University graduates who have been graduated for longer than 12 months
Do I have to take part in this research study?
Participation is completely voluntary therefore if you do not want to take part, you do not have to.
If you wish to take part in this research study, you will be asked to:
Read the information carefully (ask questions via email if necessary)
Complete the online questionnaire.
What does participation in this research require, and are there any risks involved?
If you wish to take part in this research study, we will ask you to complete an online questionnaire. The questionnaire will ask you questions about your experiences relating to work experience during your degree and seeking full-time employment for the first 12 months post graduation. It should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
What will happen to information about me?
Submission of the online questionnaire is an indication of your consent. By clicking the ‘Next’ button you are providing your permission for the research team to collect and use information about you for student learning only.
How and when will I find out what the results of the research study are?[Not applicable]
What if I want to withdraw from the research study?If you do consent to participate, you may withdraw at any time. You can do this by closing the questionnaire. If you withdraw from the research we will destroy any information that has already been collected. Once you have submitted the questionnaire however, we will not be able to withdraw your responses, as the
