Multiple Choice Questions: Poll vs Quiz

In the new unified editor, multiple choice questions are categorized based on whether your primary goal is to gather live feedback or to run a scored competition. You can access both options from the add question sidebar.

• Interactive Questions (Polls): These are unscored questions designed for gathering opinions. During a live session, they display dynamic charts to visualize audience distribution in real time.
• Quiz Competitions (Quizzes): These are scored questions that include correct answer logic. They enable difficulty levels, point values, and individual leaderboards.

While both question types allow participants to select from predefined options, their results and behaviors differ as follows:

Follow these steps to add a new question to your project:

• Log in to your account and click the New LivePoll button on your workspace homepage.
• Within the editor, click the + icon to open the add question sidebar.

• Choose Multiple choice if you want to gather feedback or Select answer if you are creating a scored quiz.
• Enter your question text and add your desired answer options.

Multiple selection allows participants to choose more than one answer option during your session.

To enable this, toggle the Multiple selection switch located at the bottom of the question card.

In select answer question type, if multiple selection is enabled, participants must select all designated correct answers to earn points. Partial correctness does not award any points to the participant.

You can enhance your questions with visual context to drive higher engagement.

• Question Image: Click the image icon located next to the question text field to upload or select an image from your library.
• Option Images: You can also add a unique image to each individual answer option for visual based choices.

To ensure fast loading and stability during live sessions, there is a limit of one image per question and one image per answer option.
