What is the purpose of the survey?

The overall goal of the survey is to identify unmet needs in caregiver education to support and further the dialogue on how to enhance education in this area.

What is caregiver education?

For the purposes of this survey, the term caregiver refers to an unpaid family member, friend, or neighbor who provides care to an individual who has an acute or chronic condition and needs assistance at home with managing a variety of tasks and complex care.

Where will the survey results be published?

The sponsoring organizations, CPEN, HCEA and SurroundHealth, will share the results of the survey with their members and may present the survey findings via listservs, in professional publications and at professional conferences. All data will be reported in aggregate. All responses are confidential and no personally identifiable information will be included in the report. All survey respondents will receive a complimentary copy of the executive summary and full report. and be entered into a raffle to win one of four $25 Amazon Gift cards.
