A developer (do we know the name?) has applied to the City of Regina to rezone the property near Elphinstone St. and 13th Ave. from Residential Older Neighbourhood (R1A) to Local Commercial (LC3). Before making a decision, the city Council wants to hear from people what they think of this plan. This is your chance to say what you think about the proposed development.
The main elements of the proposal are:
to construct a mixed use 4 story building at Elphinstone and 13th Ave.; the new building would have two retail spaces on the main floor, and 29 residential units on the upper three floors.
to demolish an existing house at 2054 Elphinstone to provide additional parking for the new building.to provide parking for 36 vehicles with exits onto 13th Ave. or Elphinstone St.
