Hello
You are invited to participate in our survey 'Conservation Now'. The aim of the survey is to identify the current and developing demands of professional conservation practice and consider how well these are being met by the outcomes from the conservation education and training programmes around the world. It is hoped that this will enable the programmes to meet the challenges of professional practice in the 21st century and enhance the employabilty of their graduates.
The survey will gather data from four demographics:
- Recent graduates
- The conservation education & training programmes
- Practicing conservators
- Museums & Galleries
Several hundred people will be asked to complete the survey and the data collected will be used to identify areas for fuller discussion at the combined interim meeting of the ICOM cc working groups for 'Education & Training' and 'Preventive Conservation' on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd September 2013 at Northumbria University, Newcastle uponm Tyne,England.
It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
