You are invited to participate in our survey Doing & Undoing Microaggressions. In this survey, approximately 50-100 students will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about Microaggression they have experienced on campus. It will take approximately 10-30 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.

Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential. Resources available to Sonoma State Students regarding microaggressions, otherwise known as a primarily verbal discriminatory interaction involving, but not limited to, someone else’s ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, or disability, can be reached through:

SSU Police Services are located by Verdot and can be reached for non emergencies at (707) 664-2143 and for emergencies at 911 on any campus phone (free of charge on payphones).

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Located on the 1st floor of Stevenson Hall below the outdoor staircase. Appointments can be made at (707) 664-2153 between 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The Hub located on the second floor of the Student Center across from SLICE can be contacted through Facebook at Sonoma State Hub. The Hub facilitates, hosts, and provides a safe place for a diverse range of clubs and campus wide programs available to students and staff.

The Student Health Center located between the Schulz Library and Nichols Hall can be reached at (707) 664-2921 from 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday excluding campus holidays & closures as shown on the SSU Academic Calendar. Extended hours on Monday until 5:30 during the Academic school year only. The After Hours Nurse Advice line can be contacted at (877)-297-2343.
