Dear FP7 PRECIOUS colleague,

You are invited to participate in this user requirement prioritization survey for the FP7 PRECIOUS project implementation. The user requirements where generated from ‘situational interviews’ that were conducted in early 2014 to gather qualitative information regarding users’ key motivations for behavioural change (in relation to four scenarios; diet, physical activity, sleep and stress), the perceived barriers to change and what tools/systems/approaches might help them to achieve desired changes.

Following the interviews a list of 16 user requirements (numbered UR1, UR2,....,UR16) where compiled by WP2 partners and reviewed via teleconference and project mailing list. There is now a need to prioritize these user requirements to ensure that the implementation of the overall PRECIOUS solution (system, services/apps etc.) is feasible within the project time-frame and to a good extent fulfills the initially conceived vision of the project.

The FP7 PRECIOUS project is composed of a multidisciplinary team of researchers with varying perspectives and background expertise. To that end, the MoSCoW requirements prioritization method presents a convenient tool for consortium to build a balanced consensus on what user requirements are critical to the project implementation.

The MoSCoW method is implemented here using this online survey. For each requirement you are requested to indicate the priority of the requirement by selecting one of the following options:

- MUST have: This is a requirement that has to be satisfied for the final PRECIOUS solution to be acceptable

- SHOULD have: This is a high-priority requirement that should be included if possible, within the PRECIOUS project time frame.

- COULD have: This is a desirable or nice-to-have requirement (time and resources permitting) but the PRECIOUS solution will still be accepted if the functionality is not included.

-WON'T have: This represents a requirement that users would wish to have, but will not be implemented within the current framework of the PRECIOUS project due to significant implementation constraints and/or misalignment with project objectives.

For further details on the initial requirements gathering process, additional information on each requirement and
supporting use case scenarios please refer to the current draft of deliverable D2.1 List of usage scenarios and user requirements.

The survey is targeted to all researchers contributing work effort to the FP7 PRECIOUS project. Please respond to this survey by Friday 27th June 2014.
