Hi All - hope you had a great New Year and are looking forward to 2016.

Regarding the HomeOwner's agreement, before I get too far in to creating anything I want to get your thoughts on how we should go ahead.

From my view there are two pressing items we need to flesh out. Once we've got a structure in place the rest will be easy.

This will only take a minute - could you give me your thoughts on the following ideas:

Please type your villa name in here:

Do you think a HomeOwner's Agreement (HOA) could help us make decisions as a group?

YES, that sounds reasonable

NO, nothing can help us make decisions because nobody agrees on anything

Maybe, but here's a better idea...

If YES, how should we make decisions as a group?

Vote

Someone else can decide for me, I don't care

Elect a sub-committee to make decisions on behalf of the HomeOwners

Here's a better idea...

If NO, how shall we make decisions on things which affect us all e.g. the upkeep and maintenance of communal grounds, banjar and government issues etc.

I don't care, just somebody do it and I'll pay for it

I don't care and I don't want to pay for it. The communal grounds can rot.

Leave it alone, it's working fine as it is

Get an external management company and they can deal with it

Here's a better idea:

Would a HomeOwner's Agreement help specify how we live together as a group e.g. we agree to protect the value of each other's property, our communal expenses are shared in this manner etc. etc.

YES

NO
