Help us Become the leaders you deserve

In this survey you will find a series of questions that will help us determine the quality of your interactions with the last SQAT that you have worked with. This is completely anonymous so please be honest and considerate with your answers, if you would prefer not to take part in this that is fine too. Our hope is to gain valuable feedback that we can use to grow, and hopefully make our daily interactions better overall.

Each section discusses a specific attribute or quality that will help us better understand the quality of our interactions with you and the rest of our team. In each section, you will find a brief introduction, to the attribute or quality, which will describe what we are looking for in terms of behaviors and attitudes related to that quality/attribute. When answering the questions and providing a rating, please keep those descriptions in mind. We all have our own interpretation of what these qualities and attributes mean, so keeping with a consistent definition or example will help us more accurately understand.

Professionalism - Maintaining professionalism is crucial to forming lasting working relationships with co-workers. It is important to make yourself approachable, but being too friendly can create unnecessary distractions. Being too nice may make you a "doormat" and allow people to take advantage of you, while being mean or overly aggressive or even antagonistic will cause you to lose the respect and cooperation of your team. Striking a balance between professionalism and comradery while maintaining appropriate behavior in the work place ensures that the people you deal with feel respected while productivity and morale remains high.
I do not wish to answer Unprofessional Mildly Unprofessional Professional Extremely Professional
How would you rate the SQAT's current level of professionalism

Communication Skills - Communication is integral to functioning on and with teams, whether they are right next to you or across the ocean. Establishing an open and productive line of communication is a key element of forming trust and mutual respect, which in turn strengthens bonds between colleagues and perpetuates a productive environment.

Leadership Skills - Leadership is a lot more than the ability to command and delegate. It is less about managing a team of people and more about inspiring productivity and efficiency, while promoting personal growth among their team. A good leader creates opportunities for his team to excel. They promote growth among their team members and offer them opportunities to lead as well. A good leader is not afraid of accountability and is willing to "hand over the reigns" on a project or task if that project or task has the potential to help a team member grow or learn.

Providing Feedback - Feedback is extremely important both for personal growth and for the growth of a team. It can help to build team morale as well as trust, it can lay the foundations for our goals and measure the progress we have made towards those goals. It can bring to our attention the areas we can improve on, as well as validate our hard work. The ability to constructively provide valid, usable, feedback is incredibly important. Balancing accolades with constructive criticisms is a delicate thing to do, but it is necessary to ensure that feedback sessions are more than just a series of compliments, and that you actually come out of them with clear, actionable, goals and a path towards reaching those goals.
