Project SEARCH

Good Morning!

You have been invited to participate in a survey for exploring the opportunity to create a Project SEARCH program in your business! This survey is the result of our recent CIFS discussions about creative ways and programs to provide expanded learning opportunities for those who face barriers to employment, particularly people with disabilities. In this survey, you will be asked questions about different aspects of your business, internship options at your business and employment requirements. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

Participation in this survey is voluntary. If you feel uncomfortable answering any of these questions you can withdraw from the survey at any point.

One other note: Project SEARCH programs have a staffing model in which there is a staff member hired to work with the interns. This staff member is fully funded through the various sources and would be an employee of Goodwill/Central Iowa Works. Your staff would not be required to do the intern training, however their assistance would be required to train the Program Manager on the various job duties. The Program Manager supervises the interns, ensures they are completing the tasks as assigned and assists with relationship building between your organization and the program.

Survey responses are confidential and data from this research will be used as we explore the potential for establishing Project SEARCH program in the financial services industry.
