You made it!
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey! We really appreciate your effort.
This survey was designed to explore what makes people happy. After collecting some demographic information, this survey measured: 1) your subjective well-being (how satisfied you are with life), 2) your experience of positive emotions, and 3) your experience of negative emotions. Taken together, these 3 are thought to represent a person's overall happiness.
The remainder of the survey measured variables that our class believes may relate to happiness: confidence in romantic relationships, physical activity, interest in academics and college, and problem solving ability. Our goal is to identify the variables most related to happiness, as these could form the foundation for interventions and therapies to help people find and maintain happiness in their lives.
If you have questions, comments, or concerns about this study please contact the study supervisor, Bob Calin-Jageman at [email protected] or by phone at 708.524.6581. You can also call/email to request a copy of the results.
Just as a final reminder, all your responses are confidential and no identifying information has been collected. Thank you for participating! |
