Think about what the college does now. In an ideal world what would you like it to do?

How would you describe why the college does what it does?

What is the value of the services the college provides to its customers? (Focus on the positive changes that the college's services/programs bring to its customers)

Consider the services the college provides and attributes that the college possesses. Then imagine how it would be if it provided the very best version of them possible. How would the college look different than it does now? What attributes/characteristics should not change – which could change? What could it be the best at? What image do you want the college to present?

A vision statement should include a qualified indicator of success – should clearly state how the college determines that it has successfully carried out its vision. (Indicators of success can be distinct, such as “top ten”, or they can be more broadly defined, such as “highly-ranked”, “world renowned”, or “specialist”.) List some ideas for how the college could define success.

Given this review, what will “success” look like? What ideas/images should the college portray? What are some engaging terms to use?
