The National Building Consent System programme (NBCS) is a significant programme of work being undertaken by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE). We are planning changes to the building consent ‘system’ (e.g., process, policy, technology, workforce) to reduce your consenting compliance costs and improve the overall experience.
We’ve heard from several different people in the industry about their experiences, key frustrations and the impacts of these on their work.
We now want to hear from you – a little more detail about your preferences, expectations and priorities. We will use this information to help design and transform the system.
This survey is anonymous and should take 5 – 10 minutes of your time to complete.
Thank you in advance for your time.
