Thanks for your interest in volunteering with the PTA of Frank Porter Graham Bilingüe. Please take this quick survey (7 questions) to tell us about your volunteer interests.
 
 
 
1. This is a list of some of the different ways people volunteer with the PTA. If any of these volunteer opportunities interest you, please choose that/those option(s): (Check as many or as few as you like)
 
Volunteer in the classroom (see #5 below)
 
Serve as a room parent in your child(ren)'s classroom -- send email reminders to parents about special events, coordinate holiday gifts or other surprises for teachers, etc. (see #5 below)
 
Help with other PTA communications -- create or translate written flyers or other documents, help with the website, make phone calls, etc. (see #6 below)
 
Work with school staff and other volunteers to help plan one-time events for FPG families and the community (see #7 below)
 
Create booklets -- the family directory, yearbook, etc.
 
Organize and sell FPG Spiritwear at school or community events -- T-shirts and other items with the school logo
 
Help organize events to support and appreciate FPG teachers and staff
 
Make/Bring food for PTA or school events (Note: In some cases, money to purchase ingredients might be provided by the PTA)
 
Perform music during PTA or school events
 
Provide childcare during PTA meetings or other events
 
Help with PTA fundraisers
 
Organize/Help with activities to help staff or families in need -- organize donations of food, coats, or household items, etc.
 
Help with small tasks around the school -- landscaping, book labeling, photocopying, etc.
 
Help manage PTA business -- track membership, take notes at meetings, coordinate room parents, etc.
