System Email Templates

System email templates are predefined formats used for all automated communications triggered by specific events within the system. Examples include a birthday greeting sent to a member, a welcome email upon signup, and other event-based notifications.

• New Member Verification: When a user signs up for the community, a verification email is sent to confirm that the provided email address is valid. Once the user clicks the verification link in the email, their account is marked as verified.
• Member Welcome: Once a community member’s account is verified, a welcome email can be automatically triggered. This email typically expresses gratitude for joining and provides key information about the community to help them get started.
• Refer-A-Friend: Here, you can configure the email that will be sent to the referred individual (referee).
• Community Invitation (Private Community): Here, you can configure the email that will be triggered as soon as users are invited to the community.
• Reward Rejection:When manual approval for rewards is enabled, rejecting a reward will trigger an email notification to the community member informing them of the rejection. You can configure the content of this email in this section.
• Birthday Wish: You can collect and store a member’s date of birth in your community. If this information is available, a birthday greeting email can be automatically sent to the member on their birthday. The content of this email can be configured in this section.
• Password Reset: This email template is triggred every time you manually send the password reset link to your members.
• Topic Approval: Here you can set the template for the email that is sent to the member when the topic posted by the him has been approved.
• Topic Rejection: Here you can set the template for the email that is sent to the member when the topic posted by the him has been rejected.
• New Membership Approval: When manual approval of signups is enabled, an email is sent to the community administrator to approve or reject the new membership request. You can configure the content of this email in this section.
Does the language dropdown auto-translate portal notifications?

The language dropdown does not trigger translation in the system. It is only a language selector that decides which pre-written content version to display. This means the client must add notification content per language.

If the dropdown is set to English and the notification template is written in English, then members whose preferred language is English will see an English portal and English portal notifications.

If a member’s preferred language is German, Spanish, or another supported language, the portal UI and system notifications displayed to them will be the versions created for that specific language.

The system displays the matching language variant, it does not auto-translate the message.
