"Single Row Text" allows respondents to provide a brief answer in one line. It's used for short, open-ended responses, like a name or a brief comment. This format helps keep answers concise and easy to read.
Add and Remove Rows: You can add multiple rows by using the "+ Text Box" feature. To remove rows, click the dropdown on the right and choose the option to remove them.
Validation
When you add questions to a survey, the validation option is turned off by default. Without validation, respondents can complete the survey without answering all the questions. If they skip all the questions, the survey will still be marked as complete.
Enabling validation gives you two options: "Force Response" and "Request Response."
Force response: Makes a question mandatory. Respondents must answer it before finishing the survey.
Request response: Shows a pop-up if a question is left unanswered, asking the respondent to answer it or continue without answering.
You can also use RegEx validation for Single Row Text questions.
