360 section type - Free responses text section

A Free Response Text Section in a 360 survey allows participants to give personalized feedback in their own words. This approach provides richer, more detailed insights compared to standard rating scales. It helps uncover specific strengths and areas for improvement by offering real examples and thoughtful observations. This deeper, tailored feedback can be far more impactful for personal and professional growth, giving a clearer picture of performance and opportunities for development.

How to add a Free Responses Text Section to the survey
• Login >> Workforce >> Select 360 survey >> Edit >> Add Section



• In the "Add New Section" popup, type the name for the section. Then, choose "Free Response Text Section" as the section type. Finally, click "Save."



• Open or expand the section and click on “Add New Question”



• Enter your question text in the new question field and click on the “Add” button



• A text comment box is automatically created for the question. If you want to add more open-ended questions, click the "Add New Question" button.



• Click on “Preview” to see participants view in the 360 surveys

To Edit Free Responses Text Section
• Click on the Kebab menu (Three-Dots) on the right side of the section
• Select “Edit Section”



• vUnder the Edit 360 Survey Section you can make changes only to the “Title”
• Click on update to save the changes

Edit a Question within a section
• Admins can edit a question in a section by expanding the section and clicking the "Edit" icon on the right side of the question.



• On the Edit Question popup admins can make changes to the
• Text of the question
• Make the question mandatory by switching on the “Required” button
• Enter Abbreviation, Information Label and Information Text if required
• Change Category Headers from the selection list

Delete a Question within a section
• Admins can delete a question in a section by expanding the section and clicking the "X" icon on the right side of the question.
• On the “Delete Question” Prompt Click “Yes” to Delete question.
