Add widgets

Once you have created a dashboard, you can add multiple widgets based on your requirements to dashboard. QuestionPro XA3 supports numerous widgets you can add as per your requirements using the “Add Widget” wizard.

To add widgets to your dashboard:

• Go to: The dashboard on which you want to add widgets
• Click on the “+ Add Widget” button or you can use the “+” button provided only for the first widget

You can choose from the two categories of widgets mentioned as follows:
• Question Based - These are widgets based on a single survey question
• Advanced Widget - These are the widgets that take inputs from multiple parameters. It can be based on multiple questions, surveys, and datasets. Multiple other widgets that provide details about survey responses (such as Response Timeline, Text box, and Map) are also available under Advanced Widgets.

Choose the appropriate folder and survey from the list

Once you select the survey; next you can choose the question from the survey based on which you want to plot the widget.
The steeper provided at the bottom will help you know the completed steps or the step which you are on to complete the widget addition process.

The system will automatically show all the supported widgets for the question which you choose in the last step. Choose the widget of your choice.
• Widget Name: The system will automatically take the question text from the survey as widget name. You can enter the widget name of your choice in the provided “Widget Name” text box. This is a mandatory field.
• Description: This is an optional field. You can add any details related to the widget in the provided space.
• Click on the “Add Widget” button to add the widget to the dashboard.

As shown below, the widget based on the details selected/added will be added to the dashboard.

• Resizing the widget - You can resize the widget by using the resize button provided at the right bottom corner of the widget.
• Moving or reordering the widget - to move the widget on the dashboard you can click and select the widget and move it over the dashboard and place it at the desired location.

Deleting a widget:

• Click on the widget settings icon of the widget you want to delete
• Click on the “Delete” icon from the menu
• A pop-up will appear to confirm whether you want to proceed further to delete the widget. Click on “Yes” to delete the widget permanently.
