Attach/Upload File Question
The Attach/upload question type allows you to have your respondents upload files and/or documents as part of their survey response. This helps if you need additional information from respondents which they may have in digital format. The uploaded files get saved in the database along with individual responses. This question type is great for recruitment surveys, where respondents can upload their CV or resume from the survey.
How do I add attach/upload files question to my survey?
- Click on Login » Surveys » Edit » Workspace
- Click the Add Question button to add a question.
- Select Attach/Upload File question from under Advanced question types.
- Attach/Upload file question will be added to your survey.
You can adjust file types and number of files by clicking on Settings
There must be a page-break before the Attach/Upload File Question and so it cannot be the first question in the Survey.
What are the limits on the file size / type?
Following are the limits based on your license level.

The above limits are for individual file. These limits will count towards your total file size limit for your account.

Due to security reasons QuestionPro will not be able to support any other file types / extensions.
Where can I view/open/download the files collected?
Go to: Analytics » Dashboard » Responses
Under Responses, switch on the Display Questions toggle and you can scroll to the Attach/Upload file question to view/open the files uploaded.
Can I download the files collected in bulk?
Yes. Go to: Analytics » Manage Data » Export
Under Export, scroll down to: Image/Multimedia Export. Here, select the question and you can download the files in bulk.
