Encrypted Media URLs
Encrypting URLs for embedded media/files enhances security of your media assets further. With the default URLs, users can view/identify names and naming convention for your media files. By adding encryption, end users (respondents) will not be able to view the file name or replicate any URL patterns to gain unauthorized access to your files.
How to enable media file url encryption?
Go to: Login » My Account » Global Settings
Enable the toggle for Encrypt Media URLs and save.
How does encryption work?
Once encryption is enabled, anytime you add an image or media file to your survey, the encrypted URL will be used to embed the media file securely.
Please note, encrypted URLs will not be updated on any of the existing surveys already created. You can edit a survey to update the image/media file links and the encrypted URLs will be used.
There is no change in process for adding an image. You can click to add an image.
Select an image and save.
Encrypted URL will be used and respondents/end users will not be able to see the file name of the image.
