Draft and Publish Surveys

To ensure we gather the most accurate and reliable insights, we'll be utilizing our survey platform to streamline the entire process.

All new surveys will be created in draft mode allowing you to collaboratively build and refine questions and flow. Once the survey structure is ready, you can build your complex logic flows and get ready to publish your survey!

Publish your survey for live data collection. A key advantage of this approach is the ability to lock the survey from further edits once data collection begins. This crucial feature guarantees data integrity by preventing any changes that could compromise the consistency and validity of your incoming responses.

You can make minor text changes to any live surveys. To make structural changes to your survey, you can always move the survey to draft mode and pause data collection. Once you are ready with the updates, publish your survey again and start collecting data and gather the insights you need!

To create a new survey, go to: Login » Surveys

Click on the New Survey, name your survey (optional) and Create Survey.

Survey will be created in Draft mode. Add questions to your survey using the Add Question button or using QuestionPro AI!

Once your survey is ready and tested, you can publish the survey.

Once your survey is published, editing the structure of the survey is not allowed. You can make minor edits to your survey in published mode.

Once a survey is published, you will see the QR code and the URL to your survey.

You can now start data collection!

Yes. You can make text changes to a survey in published mode.

To make any structural changes to your published survey, move the survey back to Draft mode.

Once you have made your changes, you can again Publish your survey and begin data collection.
