Compound logic can be used to set up logic based on answers to multiple questions as well as system variables. It is also used for delayed branching where you can apply logic based on answers to a question or multiple questions that were answered earlier in the survey.
Q1: How often do you visit our restaurant? Q2: Which city do you live in? Compound branching logic should be applied to question Q2 based on the options selected in Q1 and Q2. Q3: To be answered only by respondents who are first-time visitors and live in Seattle. Q4: To be answered only by respondents who are first-time visitors and live in New York. Q5: To be answered only by respondents who visit often and live in Seattle. Q6 To be answered only by respondents who visit often and live in New York. Q7: General question to be answered by everybody
Before adding any logic, you should set up the entire survey with all of the questions. This will make it easier to check that the logic is correct when testing the survey.
