Terminate Response for Data Quality Flags

When conducting research, it is imperative to remove or disqualify bad data. With QuestionPro you can switch on data quality flags and terminate a response based on a single or multiple flag triggers and avoid bad data quality and improve your research outcomes.

How to enable data quality flags?

Go to: Login » Surveys (Select Survey) » Analytics » Manage Data

Under Manage Data, select Data Quality option.

Switch on the toggles for the data quality flags you would like to enable. Responses collected after enabling these modules will be screened for the quality check.

How can I terminate responses?

Once you have enabled the data quality flags, you can terminate on any logic that you would like. Let's take for example, we want to terminate a response if any 2 flags are triggered.

Terminate response logic is set to none by default. Here, select the If At Least

Select the number of flags as 2 and Save Changes

As soon as the criteria is met, response will be terminated for data quality. You can also add additional logical statements to add checks for specific flags with AND/OR logic support.

Where can I edit the message seen by respondents if they get terminated?

Go to: Login » Surveys (Select Survey) » Edit » Finish Options

Under Finish Options, you can edit the message for Data Quality Terminated Respondent Message
