reCAPTCHA stands for Completely Automated Public Turing Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart. It is a type of challenge-response test used in computing to determine whether the user is a human or not. reCAPTCHA tests are used to prevent automated programs from using various types of computing services or collecting certain types of sensitive information.
Go to: Login » Surveys (select a survey) » Edit » Workspace
Click on the Add Question button.
Select the Captcha question type from the Misc group under the Basic question types.
After the CAPTCHA question is added, click on the Settings to view more options.
CAPTCHA question now supports two types of CAPTCHA settings, reCAPTCHA V2 and Invisible reCAPTCHA.
Selecting reCAPCTHA V2 will ask users to manually verify themselves using a check box.
Selecting reCAPCTHA V3 will verify user automatically without any manual intervention
Clicking next button when invisible CAPCTCHA is enabled kick starts the process of automatic verification.
We use Google reCAPTCHA to distinguish between human and automated access. We do not capture or store any PII data for respondents and only save the result of the question type as PASS. If CAPTCHA fails, the response is not captured and respondents are not allowed to proceed with the survey any further.
