Survey Sharing and Collaboration
Surveys form the basis of successful market research projects and insights management. Agile surveys are needed to develop research studies that are easy to manage, quick to deploy, and allow for easy collaboration between distributed researchers and teams.

How to share a survey?
You can share a survey within the organization among users in your team or organization or externally with users outside the organization even without a QuestionPro account.
There are two easy ways to share a survey.
Share folder and all surveys within a folder. Sharing a folder with users in your organization makes it very easy to share multiple surveys in one go. Any new survey created in the shared folder will also be shared with everyone who have been granted access.
Go to:
Login » Surveys
Hover on the folder and click on the three-dot menu for the folder.
Click on
Share Folder
You have the option to share the folder with:
- Everyone in the org
- Share folder with specific teams
- Share folder with specific users
In the following example, the folder is shared with specific users:
To share an individual survey, go to:
Login » My Surveys
Click on the three-dot menu and click on
Share Survey
Individual survey sharing option is only available with Research Edition licenses.
You can share with:
- Specific users
- Specific teams
- Everyone
In this example, we are sharing the survey with members outside the organization.
Once you have shared the surveys, you can start collaborating!
How does collaboration work?
Once you have shared your survey with others in your org, everyone can collaborate on the survey. Multiple users can simultaneously and seemlessly work on the surveys!
On the top right corner of the survey, you will be able to see all users who are active on the survey.
You will also see the questions on which a particular user is active. If a user is actively updating a question in a survey, other users will be locked out for edits untill the first user is done.
Edit logs for every users every action are maintained and you can see them under
Tools » Survey Versions
Every users edit and update logs are maintained and you can choose to switch to any of the survey versions using the
Restore Version option.
