Text Slider

Interactive Slider Rating Scales give researchers the opportunity to produce question and answer styles that incorporate a greater breadth of answers, as well as to enable animation and interactivity.

How to add a text slider question?

To add a text slider question to your survey:

Go to: Login » Surveys (Select a survey) » Edit » Workspace.
Click on Add Question button.

From Basic question types, select the Text Slider question under Graphical Rating category.

The added question will appear in your survey.

Once the question is added, you can add rows, columns, and control other settings.

Can I adjust the slider start position?

Yes. Depending on your rating scales or your requirement, you can select the slider start position. For example, if you wish to start the slider at the neutral position on a rating scale, click on the question settings and select the Slider position from Slider Start Position.

This setting will only change the slider start position. No input will be recorded by default. If you wish to register an input by default, you can use the Default Selected option.
