Percentage Calculation Mode for Multi Select Type Questions
Percentage calculation mode options
When analyzing multiple-select-type questions, by default the total is displayed as cumulative frequency.
The cumulative frequency defaults to total 100% as displayed below.
To see the total respondents who answered the question, you can do so by going to: Login >> Surveys >> Analytics >> Dashboard
Go to the particular question and click on the settings gear. On the popup, click on the Configure Reporting link. This will open the Configure Reporting pop-up. Here you can set the percentage calculation mode under the Customized Analytics/Computed Values.

- Respondent - Started
- Respondent - Completed
Respondent - Answered the question
How to change the default percentage calculation mode for all surveys?
You can set your preferred percentage calculation mode under Organization settings and this will be applied to all new surveys you create.
Go to: Organization » Settings
On the settings popup, select the preferred percentage calculation mode and save.
